Are you a second-year senior, maybe third or fourth-year senior? Have you been wavering back and forth between majors, or do you not have a clue about what you want to do in your future? Well not surprisingly, there is something to help you along at the University of West Georgia.

Since 2000, the EXCEL center had held an event called the Mardi Gras of Majors/Major Declaration Day. This year will be the event’s twelth annual occurrence. The event will take place on Feb. 22 from 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the TLC atrium. There is said to be nearly 1,000 undeclared students at UWG and an untold amount that are still uncertain about their major declaration decisions according to the UWG Daily Report on UWG’s website.

If there has never been a time before, then the time is now! Decide on your future, and be certain about what you want for yourself and your future when it comes to your education and major. The Mardi Gras of Majors will have a representative in every area of study waiting to talk with you personally about every aspect of every option you would want to explore. Talk about a buffet!

Career paths, potential internships, studying abroad and many other educational opportunities will be at your disposal. And as if it couldn’t get any better, light refreshments and door prizes will be available to all participants. Be sure to attend and pick your major.
