UWG intramural basketball has closed the regular season and the playoffs are underway. The men’s bracket consists of thirty teams that will compete for the championship. Division leading teams are still in the running but could face some stiff competition from lower seeds in the bracket. The Real Ballers lead the league in points scored as they amassed 286 total points in the regular season. They will likely meet up in the quarterfinals against another powerful offense, Tune Squad. Other division leaders like the MonStars and The Dream Team are gunning for the title. Men’s quarterfinal action is set to begin March 2 in the Campus Center. Women’s semifinals will take place March 4. Other intramural sports such as 4-on-4 flag football and softball will start their seasons on March 3.
