If you think that Valentine’s Day is the only day you should be “extra special” to your loved ones, you’ve got another thing coming. Making people feel special year around is sure to strengthen your relationships.- Do not propose on Valentine’s Day. There are 364 other days to choose from that can be your special day, rather than Cupid’s.
- When at dinner or out on a date, do not continuously text, check the scores of a game, tweet etc.
- When taking a girl on a date for Valentine’s Day, do not make her pay.
- Do not take your date to a fast food restaurant on Valentine’s Day unless you know she does not mind.
- Do not look at a woman’s cleavage. When she is talking, look her in the eyes.
- Do not break up with your girlfriend or boyfriend in public on Valentine’s Day.
- Do not buy flowers that are already dead.
- Make sure you tell her Happy Valentine’s Day at the beginning of the day, not after you have been texting for 20 minutes.
- Don’t say you “hate” Valentine’s Day when you know you really love it.
- When a girl says, “You don’t have to get me anything,” don’t listen. Something small is better than nothing at all.
- Guys-clean out your car and try not to have athletic shoes around. They tend to give unpleasant odors.
- Make sure you have your wallet before you leave the house. You never know who will end up with the bill.
- Avoid chewing gum once you meet up. Smacking is such a turn off. However, keep mints in hand in case the night ends with a kiss!
- Girls-don’t run your mouth about your ex all night. The guy is interested in you if he asked you out, so don’t bring up all the problems from your past the first night.
- Do not sing “lovie dovie” songs. We know you want to be Juliet, but that does not mean we can sing too.
- Do not go on a date with someone you don’t wish to be with.
- Do not eat chocolates excessively. Some chocolates are okay.
- Don’t re-gift from past years.
- Remember even the best made plans never go according to planned.
