The West Georgia Lady Wolves were able to defeat Lee University in a volleyball showdown this past Saturday that ended in four sets at the Coliseum.
The Wolves were able to take the 1st set 25-22 and fell in the second set 20-25. The Wolves were able to pick it up and come back to with the third (25-17), where there were no ties or lead changes, and fourth (22-20) set.
The Wolves averaged 13 kills as a team, with the senior, Lesley Bemis leading the team with 12; junior setter, Amanda Miller led the team with 38 assists
The Wolves move to 8-3 on the season, 2-1 in Gulf South Conference play.
Their next opponents for the week are Shorter College Oct. 1, Valdosta State Oct. 4 at home and then on the road at Christian Brothers Oct. 11, then Union (Tenn.) Saturday.
