Dear students,
We at The West Georgian want to hear what you have to say about the things that matter most to you. We are introducing a new section of our weekly newspaper that we will call “#WolfPackWoes.”
Our main goal with “#WolfPackWoes” is to get you involved with our paper by dedicating space to the written thoughts and opinions of UWG students regarding topics that are relevant to our campus, community, country and even the world.
Topics will be posted on our Twitter page (@thewestgeorgian) every Monday morning and will include the tag “#WolfPackWoes” to make them easier to locate. From there it will be your job to record your thoughts on the topic in a Microsoft Word document that does not exceed 400 words and to submit this document to uwgwolfpackwoes@gmail.com by midnight on Wednesday.
We encourage responsible, nuanced commentary from students, staff, faculty and community members. For verification purposes and to maintain our credibility, we require that you include your full name and contact information with your submission.
Our first “#WolfPackWoes” topic will be announced on Monday, September 24 and will be published in our print edition on Monday, October 1.
We can’t wait to hear what you have to say,
Robert Moody, Editor In-Chief
The West Georgian
