“New Year, Improved Me”

The New Year has begun and time is already flying by. Have you started working on that “new you” yet? I’m sure many of you have already forgotten your New Year’s resolution by now. Most people think that when a new year comes around that it’s time to transform into a completely different person. If that was possible we all would be millionaires by now. So thinking realistically instead of trying to change you, why not make some improvements.

You should first ask yourself what it is in your life that needs improvement. This can be a physical or personal change. Take time to write down these goals for the year. For example, if you want to bring up your GPA, make a list of the things that you could do to achieve it. Hang up your list on a mirror or on a wall so you can read it everyday. Once you complete something on the list give yourself a reward.

Also don’t be discouraged. 2013 might not have been the best year for you, but that’s why you don’t give up. Stay motivated! Matter of fact be your own motivation, only you know what it is that you want out of life. Keep your eyes on the prize, good luck!
