Carrollton’s 18th Annual Arts Festival Coming to Carrollton

The Carrollton Artists Guild and the Carrollton Center for the Arts presents their 18^th Annual Art Festival Oct. 9 and 10. The festival will be held at the Carrollton Center for the Arts off of Adamson Square in Historic Downtown Carrollton, Georgia. The event will run from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. both days and admission is free for all events at the festival.

The festival is a wonderful activity for the entire family. All ages are welcome; free craft stations for kids and a youth exhibit within the galleria will be available for the kids. There will also be educational booths and artists at the event demonstrating their art. There will be 55 visual booths set up where the community can come and admire the work or local artists. All art pieces will be available for purchase at the event.

Over 70 national artists will be attending the festival and they are ready to share their work and meet the community of Carrollton. There will be live music and food trucks including Express Mexican and Butter’dudder Ice Cream.

If you are interested in becoming a festival patron, Art Bucks can be purchased before the event in denominations of $50. An Art Buck is a certificate that you buy before the festival and use to buy artwork once it begins. According to the Art Festival of Carrollton website, “when you buy an Art Buck you actually receive two items: The Art Buck certificate, and a Patron Award. When you purchase art at the festival, you present the artist with both the award and the certificate. They will proudly display the award in their tent and redeem the Art Buck certificate for cash. When you become a patron, you also get access to the Welcome Party that takes place on Friday to kick off the festival where the artists and the patrons can mingle.
