There are many coffee places all around Carrollton, Georgia. However, some of the best
coffee can be found in Downtown Carrollton around Adamson Square. This area is known for its
local business and welcoming atmosphere. The first coffee shop I stopped at was Dream City
Brewing Company, located at 120 Newnan St, Carrollton, GA 30117. This coffee shop is owned
by Joel and Chris Pollard, according to the City of Carrollton website. Upon entering this coffee
shop, I immediately felt a welcoming atmosphere. It was filled with vibrant colors, giving it a
modern look. Their menu consisted of a variety of options such as coffee, tea, and craft beer. I
was instantly drawn to their different types of lattes and decided to go with an iced vanilla
lavender latte. This coffee was different from the type I am used to, as it had more of an herbal,
tea like flavor. However, I did not mind it because I enjoy herbal teas. This is a great place to sit
and catch up with friends while enjoying a drink of your choice. There is even an outdoor patio
for those looking to get some fresh air.
The second coffee shop I visited was Gallery Row Coffee, located at 309 Adamson
Square, Carrollton, GA 30117. This shop is one of my personal favorites. Upon entering, one can
instantly feel the cozy atmosphere and the smell of coffee filling the air. Their menu offers a
wide selection of coffees, teas, pastries, ice creams and more. For this visit, I decided to try their
iced Mexican mocha with cinnamon. It was very delicious and chocolatey, and I could clearly
taste both the mocha and cinnamon. In fact, it reminded me of hot chocolate except it was iced.
This shop is a popular community hangout with plenty of seating for customers. It is the perfect
place for studying or getting work done. There is always great ambiance, and the staff is always
lovely. Additionally, they have art displayed on the walls for customers to admire and draw
inspiration from.
The third coffee shop I stopped by was Buzzard’s Coffee located at 211 Bradley St,
Carrollton, GA 30117. When entering this shop, the first thing I noticed was its rustic and
spacious layout and design. They have a small pop-up retail corner with apparel and bags of
coffee beans for sale. One cool feature that cannot be missed is the dirt bike they have on display,
which adds on to the place’s artsy lifestyle aesthetic. Their menu is primary coffee based, unlike
the first two shops I stopped by. Although they do offer a few other options, most of their items
were still lattes and hot drinks. Additionally, they also serve pastries to accompany your drink.
After taking a good look at their menu, I decided to try their Old Buzzard which is their
Signature Bourbon Vanilla Latte. I did ask to get it iced, as I prefer cold drinks over hot. Overall,
this place has a lovely atmosphere, with music that is not too loud, cozy and warm feeling, and
great classic coffee. It is another excellent spot for hanging out with friends or getting work
done.
Moving on to my final stop, I visited Sprinkles Donuts and Coffee located at 312 Newnan
St, Carrollton, GA 30117. This one was different from the last, it was colorful, very clean, and
had a friendly, welcoming vibe. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, although the outdoor
area is much smaller. They are best known for their delicious donuts but do have some coffee
options. I decided to go with a basic vanilla iced cold brew latte, which one can never go wrong
with. It was definitely the sweetest coffee out of the previous ones. However, it was very good
and perfect, especially for the hot weather that day. This place is great for hanging out rather than
studying. It is very simple, casual and very convenient for a quick stop before work or school in
the early mornings.
These local coffee shops all offer amazing coffee, friendly staff, and welcoming
ambiance. Each location provides customers with a place to study, work, or just hang out. They
make it their priority to provide customers with the best customer service by offering individual
custom preferences. In addition to coffee, most of these shops offer a great selection of pastries
or small breakfast items. Each place also does an amazing job in expressing their creativity and
uniqueness through their coffee. From offering drinks that range from strong to sweet, as well as
demonstrating their own style and design of their location. Despite their differences, they all
have something in common and that is that they never fail to satisfy their customers.
